Another boring doc visit today...everything is the same. I am as "normal" as ever and still completely "closed". Guess I need to start walking a little more than the journey from my portable to the main office! BUT 22 days to go is still exciting! The car seat base is in- just in case!
On a school note, my kids enjoyed watching the baby move during chapter book time today- he was really moving since its after lunch and I pointed it out (no they don't normally stare at my large belly) and they were all amazed at the bumps and waves. They all agreed that pregnancy was "really weird" :)
Happy Birthday (yesterday) Papa Wes! Your last birthday as a young'n- no grandkids yet! :)

yeah yeah yeah...bor-ing
The 36 week check today was not so exciting. As the doc said...oh, yeah he's still way up there! She said it like it was funny. I do not think it's "funny". Well, maybe a little, but no progress! :( bummer....BUT I am really not ready to leave school (well I want to, but the work is not done!) and I still have so much to do around the house to be "ready". OK, we will see next week! I was just hoping for a little excitement.
I did pack my hospital bag today though. Travis has been bugging me to do that so I finally gave in. I just hate packing! ha! I have actually been feeling pretty good this week. I think I got my motherly energy boost or something ??? it is weird!
Travis comes home today from Vegas (work trip) and I am so glad! I have missed the Coach so much! He really does take care of me :) We are glad that there was no reason to rush home either! Bonus, he did walk away from the tables with a lil cash! Fun fun!
Happy Birthday Vaughanie!! A lil shout out for ya! :)

A new addition...
Nope, not mine! but a welcomed addition to the family! My cousin Brie gave birth to Jaryn Brice Hendry on April 20th, at 2:30pm, in Colorado Springs, CO. He is just a lil cutie and everyone is doing well! Such wonderful news! Brie was only 2 weeks ahead of me, but she did deliver 2 weeks early- still, it makes me a lil anxious! I am next!! :) Congratulations Hendry Family!! We are so excited for you!

How are you feeling?
Wow. Everyone is so nice to me right now. I don't know how many times a day I get the question, "How are you feeling?" It is a normal question and everyone seems to be very caring (including strangers), I just don't know how to answer it. "I'm okay" tends to be my reply of choice. I feel pretty good considering the craziness that is going on inside of me at all times. I am excited about baby stuff, but I have a month to go which is still a long time. I think I am in the calm before the storm stage. Travis and I have been trying to "hibernate" to store up energy and enjoy each other (thank you Gordon for that wonderful analogy). I realize people just want to talk to me. People love pregnant women! and I think it is so funny! I think someone on almost every isle of the grocery store yesterday asked me when I was due. Strangers feel they need to ask. They can't help it. It just comes out! :)
I went to the doctor yesterday and everything is good. I haven't started to dilate yet and everything was on track for growth. I was worried that baby was stuck sideways for a while there (which would mean C-section if he stayed till delivery) but we think he has moved back to being head down. That was a relief! and it is a little more comfortable for me! I am going to the doc every week from now on, which makes me feel like I might be on the fast track!
Our house is now quickly being invaded by baby stuff. We set up the swing in the living room and the pack and play in our bedroom and the stroller is in the front room.... can you tell we like to be prepared! :) It was a fun weekend! We were like two kids at Christmas!

32 Weeks...and counting! Only 50 Days to Go!!
Here I am in all my BIG glory....take note this is after a long day at work with nasty weather (yea for portables!). But it has been a while since we posted a pic so we thought we needed to just do it and get it over with. Well, thats what I say. I do feel big and daily life is getting harder. Needless to say, I can't wait to be done with school! And I am getting anxious to have the lil boxer out of my belly (and off my bladder!). The daily hiccups are getting kinda annoying too. :)
We really just can't wait to meet the lil guy! I went to the doctor today and everything is still a-okay! I was in and out. Love the good news. We "graduated" from birthing class last week. :) It was a great experience and we learned a lot- well, Travis learned a whole lot and me, a little. But we feel as prepared as we ever will be. I have a breastfeeding class tomorrow night. I know that it will help me feel a little more prepared in that area. Travis is supposed to come too, so it will be interesting. He really makes me laugh- in a good way! We are having so much fun together going through all these learning experiences. By the way, he did a great job changing and dressing the doll last week...granted there was no poop involved or crying! We will see about that soon enough!
We are getting the room more and more ready! Here is the rocker we got... one word- heavenly. And here is the picture that "Uncle Matt" painted! I love it- its like we bought it at Pottery Barn or something! He did an amazing job! Thanks Matt!! More pics of the room to come!
