Whats happening?!

So, it seems that Alex caught a stomach bug. He was up all hours of the night last night throwing up and continued all day today. fabulous, right?! Thank goodness he has been taking some good naps today to help sleep it off. Let me just say though that this is horrible timing for me- it is not easy to take care of throw up and a sick one with this big belly, contractions, little sleep, and back pain (not to complain or anything! ha!) I really cant reach his mattress to change sheets! Thank goodness for my parents helping me out today and Travis came home early. Poor Alex is hanging in there but is just not feeling good at all. I think throwing up has to be the #1 most horrible feelings in the world. My heart aches for him.

To make the day harder on me, I went to the doctor. I never updated from last week but I was dialated to 1cm and looking like I was on the track to labor- I was so happy and getting excited that she may come early! Well, I should have never gotten my hopes up. Today, I am no further along than last week. Nothing. Well, kapooie. What the heck is going on with this body then- I sure feel like I am getting close! Like I said earlier, I am in a lot of pain, especially at night. I have been having contractions at night but then they stop when I fall asleep. The doc did do a quick ultrasound just to check her out and she is face out/up. She needs to roll over and is having a hard time getting down. You would think with a toddler sitting on my belly everyday she would be forced down by now! So its looking like another waiting game. We spoke about induction but since I have so little progress it wouldn't be until my due date most likely. tater tots. :(
I know to be patient and let God time it out just right. He knows that my first priority right now is to take care of Alex and get him better. I just hope that he also knows that as soon as he is better, lil missy is welcome to come any time! We really thought she was coming soon so we buckled down and got most everything ready.
bag is packed!cameras charged! pink laundry washed, folded, ready!
