Ketchup...yep its time

I know of teachers that would pull out a ketchup bottle and tell the kids it was time to "Ketchup" on work that was dragging out...that's how I feel today, since I have been MIA on the blog scene for a while. I have been in a funk, don't know what it is, but it is time to snap out of it! :)

Last weekend we had a family reunion with my moms side of the family. It was a lot of fun and so good to see everyone. We had a great time just chatting, eating burgers, lovin' on babies, and some played games of poker, Hungarian horseshoes, and Foosball.

Alex got to meet his 3rd cousin, Asher, who is about a month younger than him. I am sure they will have a ball playing together some day!

This is Hallie Ann, his other third cousin. Have you ever seen such beautiful blonde curls!! Too cute!!
Alex sported the maroon and white to cheer on the Ags and their first game, but it did not seem to help. : ( We'll gig 'em next time, right?! Oh, I hope so!! (sigh)

Vinnie, trying to get Alex to make a longhorn...nice try!
Alex surprised me this week. Three times I have found him like a turtle on his back in his crib in the middle of the night. He wasn't crying really, but the commotion woke me up and convinced me to check on him. He was apparently working on a poop and fell over from all the "wiggling". I think he was just as surprised as I was. He rolled over again for Travis the other night when they were playing. So, I guess he can roll over now, although I still feel it is somewhat accidental. :) Oh, and he can't go the other way yet (back to belly)- that is why... we are a turtle on its back.

Today was our 2nd playdate. It was good times by all. The other baby boy was a no-show again. So its Alex and his ladies...Mya, Emma, and Kenzie (Annie couldn't make it either). What cuties!
